IS IT LEGAL TO OWN BODY ARMOR?

Body armor is an unregulated product which means it does not require any special paperwork or background checks. But some states have specific body armor laws concerning the buying of these products. It is your full responsibility to know if you legally following the restrictions in your area of residence.

Body armor is legal in all 50 states with ONLY the following three restrictions:

• Body Armor is illegal if you have been convicted of a violent felony.

• Body armor may not be shipped to a civilian in Connecticut. Body armor purchases in Connecticut may only occur "face to face."

• Body armor is not intended for criminals. Wearing body armor while committing a crime will increase penalties greatly.

CAN I WEAR BODY ARMOR IN PUBLIC?

Yes you can wear body armor in public but it is recommend that you purchase a concealed vest and not draw unwanted attention.
 

does body armor expire?

Body Armor does expire after 5 years of manufacturing, all of our vest and plates have their manufactured date printed on them.
 

how do i know the body armor i am buying will protect me?

When buying body armor from Safe Haven Global Corporation, all Body Armor is NIJ certified and up to top quality as we are registered government vendors and supply our armor to police and many government branches.
 

What is body armor made out of?

Body Armor can be made out of many things but here at Safe Haven Global Corporation we use Polyethylene – Often Called PE or UHMWPE for our light weight and trauma proof plates and Aramid Fiber such as Kevlar for our vest making all of our products bullet, stab, impact & taser Proof.
